Month of Skirts

My month of skirts is almost to an end. I do believe I wore skirts or dresses 20+ days out of the last 30, which is really amazing with how cold the weather has been up here all month and how much I had to work. I learned a few things as well. Those will come when I am officially done with this month.

Changed the name

I wasn't digging it. So I changed the name. I still like this one, so we shall see how I like this one. I just need to get some crafts going....lol

Dyeing

I dyed a petticoat this week, Monday actually. I did test dyes and everything, and it still did not end up the right color. Not sure if I messed it up, or if the dye recipe was darker than it showed online, or - more likely - if the material just soaked up the orange color more. The small netting dyed orange, and the larger netting dyed more yellow...odd how that works out.

I'll post pictures as soon as I learn how to do that on here.

Getting started

Hey. I've been wanting to start a blog for ages, and really, I've been kinda pressured to start one as well. So, with June, I'm going to!

Half in the Bag - When shopping I never know for sure if I want something, so I'll carry it around until I can decide (really, if I get annoyed carrying it, then it wasn't meant to be, and if by some chance it makes it with me to the cashier, then I'll take it), so it's kinda half in the bag before I buy it. Also, I have a really bad tendency to only finish half of my projects half of the time, the rest of the time they are half finished in a bag. WIPs if you will...but not really since I probably will never get back to them. So, thus the name.

I'm Annie. I'm gonna try updating at least once a week with some nifty pictures. (By nifty I mean not at all, since I am horrible at photography!) lol
